What Type of Classroom Works Best?

Ultimately, a teacher runs a Company for the students. When you see the difference in their professional behavior, it makes the change worthwhile. However, what type of classroom environment works best for running a Company? At a recent conference, Chris Hand and John Owens introduced Company to many business teachers. The overall reception of the classroom management system was excellent, but many thought that the program was only for technical schools where students have a longer class period. The truth is the majority of current Company classrooms are in a standard period classroom. Though every teacher would love to have a longer class period, we must make the best of the time we have. Company is an adaptable approach to classroom management that focuses on the student. It is an inclusive program that not only focuses on mastery level learning in your curriculum, but it trains the student in necessary skills including time management and other professional abilities. Please take a moment and visit some of the Company classroom web pages located in our links section. We are regularly adding links to other Company classrooms, so visit often.
